Join Kate Savage and Arts Connect for a Trips and Tours to Chicago for the annual Wright Plus Housewalk in Oak Park, Illinois. This tour showcases the architecture and design of Frank Lloyd Wright’s innovative vision. It features Wright’s home and studio along with thirteen other private homes and buildings designed by the famed architect and his contemporaries, all of which will be open for this one-day once-a-year experience.
Other highlights include tickets to the Friday night performance of the blockbuster theatre sensation HAMILTON, a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago for a tour of the exhibition Heaven and Earth: Alexander Calder and Jeff Koons, a performance of the Chicago Symphony with Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting Mahler, and a visit to the Art Institute of Chicago plus a river cruise.
The cost of the trip is $1,800 per person double occupancy which includes three nights at the beautiful lakefront Drake Hotel, most meals and local transportation. Airfare not included. Space are limited.
