Kate Savage

Originally from England, Kate has lived in Lexington since 1977 - long enough to consider the Bluegrass her home.

For over thirty years she owned and ran a restaurant, catering company and small deli before selling to move on and form the arts nonprofit ARTS CONNECT in 2018.

Since then she has expanded the creative impact of her organization by introducing events, programs, workshops, as well as opportunities for artists to develop and make community connections.

After three years of hosting a show on community radio, in 2023 she decided to introduce her own podcast ART THROB.
