About Julie Quick:
Julie Quick is a pastel artist from Lexington, Ky and she won first place in the 2023 and 2024 Arts Connect plein air annual Paint the Town event.
Julie's work can be seen in galleries and her own studio in downtown Lexington. The landscape and the equestrian way of life are some of her favorite subjects to capture. She especially loves to focus on movement and response whether it's a contrast of a moving sky next to the stability of land, or the gestural movement of a rider and horse. |
