REIMAGINE is an exhibition of work by artists who have chosen a local elementary school student's drawing that has  inspired them to create an artwork in their own style and medium.
The collaborative originals are auctioned online to raise funds that are shared among
 the participating public schools for art supplies, the artists and Arts Connect as the program administrator

About Reimagine
Originally founded in 2014 by Lori Barnett, President of CAAE, and successfully produced until 2019
Arts Connect, with Lori's collaboration now as a board member, was excited to re-introduce this program in 2022.

“The inspiration behind the concept for this exhibition originally came from my daughter Grace.
She  regularly created abstract line drawings since the age of three.  I started recreating her drawings using
my own style and medium. I loved having an artistic partnership with her. All of our collaborative pieces
are signed with a combination of my name and hers. I imagined this would be a great idea for a fundraiser,
and, on a larger scale, to help public school arts programs in need.”
