JOE GATTON and JOE FERRELL talk about the upcoming production THE WEIR. Joe Ferrell is director and Joe Gatton plays the role of Jack - a car mechanic. The play is set in a bar in rural Ireland where the men are swapping ghost stories in an attempt to impress a young woman from Dublin who has recently moved into a nearby haunted house. However, the tables are soon turned when she spins a chilling true story of her own.
The play, which won the Olivier Award for Best New Play when it premiered at The Royal Court in London is currently enjoying a major renaissance with a productions again playin in London and directed by the playwright Conor PcPherson, also in Dublin, Ireland and quite recently in New York.
Now it will open at the Antagonist Theatre in Lexington on November 7, 2025.
