Seth D. Tuska is the son of the late American artist and educator John Regis Tuska (1931–1998), whose work explored the human condition with unflinching honesty. As the steward of his father’s legacy, Seth has created The Mythos Experience, an immersive program combining Tuska’s art with guided self-reflection. He is also the driving force behind Operation Lion Drop, a global initiative delivering art-based tools of hope to children in crisis.
Seth’s mission is rooted in a simple creed — non basta una vita (“one life is not enough”) — carrying his father’s philosophy forward into classrooms, public spaces, and communities, inviting people of all ages to pause, reflect, and ask:
Where have I been? Where am I now? Where do I want to go?
We talk about how the life and work of Seth's father, John Regis Tuska, an American artist and educator continues to inspire, educate, and empower through Mythos, an interactive art experience. We explore how this seed is being planted in Lexington schools, civic spaces, and communities — from Operation Lion Drop’s message of empathy for children, to the vision of a Mythos destination spa. This is a conversation on art as a tool for healing, reflection, and connection.
